Dulce de leche – your everyday “ugly duckling” fairytale.

Once upon there was a this disgusting thick white sugary milk in a can.

A chef (dont know who, but bless you) took pity on the disgusting little sugar milk in a can and said – “why dont I end your miserable little disgusting white sugary milk life and boil you in your little can until you, and your friends, will not recognize you ever again?”

We can only imagine what the can was thinking about this offer being a can and all obviously it could say either yes or no. (It´s a can… cans don´t speak, get over it!).  Fact of the matter is – the chef boiled the hell out of it! And voila, Caramel was born from heat and disgusting white sugary milk.

This is why you should never cry over spilled milk – cause it really was not all that great to begin with.

Now lets make Banoffee pie.
