“Here and there” by Etienne RUGGERI. Etienne invests with appetite, an abandoned hospital, a parking lot, a dark street, a dull and faded wall. He unearths abandonned objects, steals them and takes them for a trip. This is how the series “SOFABSURDE” which features two chairs in a faded velvet. Through his cheeky gaze, the two smashed seats, once upon a time treated as garbage, come back to life and play with the characters they encounter along their way. Etienne takes them wandering, and watch over the country. They are moving forward and pull Etienne along in their adventures. Some Sources tell they have run over them in the capital, some even claim to have touched them while Others already imagine sitting on them. One thing is for sure “SOFABSURDE” will excite your imagination and stir your senses! Etienne ruggeri went ahead by dragging his sofas all around but now they are the one who bring him towards new horizons.
